Sorry if these questions seem silly, but this will be my families first trip to DIsney WOrld. We are staying at the Coronado Springs, in Mid August.
Do the rooms have toiletries? If so, what? This way I won't have to worry about packing them from home.
Are simple groceries available at the resort, so we don't have to eat out for breakfast- milk, cereal, bread/rolls or pop-tarts? Anything like that, that would save us a couple of dollars?
Can I ask for a certain building in my reservation? Is so, what is recommended? What is near the BIG DIg pool? Or is it better to be near the Pepper Market?
Thanks to anyone that can help me, and offer any other advice. I ahve learned a lot by looking thru previous threads.

I was there in 2003 and they provided soap, shampoo, conditioner, TP ofcourse and I think kleenex. I would bring my own shampoo though, I dont like hotel shampoo.

We stayed closer the the main pool and it was very nice. The walk was kindof long to get all way around to the main building (pepper market). Night time was very relaxing and beautiful around the resort. I still remember laying in the hammicks with DH at night and seeing the lights over the lake (on the bridge). okay Im rambeling but it was very nice. and I think you will enjoy this resort.

Try gardengrocer.com for groceries, they will ship directly to your resort the day you arrive. Order 3 to 4 weeks ahead of time. Its a little bit pricier than home but a lot less that Disney and you can't beat the service.

We just got back from staying at Coronado Springs, was our first trip to WDW as well. They do provide shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap and kleenex. I bring my own though because like the previous poster, I do not care for hotel shampoo, but I did pack them in suitcases each day...put together little toitetry bags for a shelter in town...we drove so I brought be basic groceries with me...can't help with that. But was SOOOOOO glad that I chose CSR. We stayed in Cabana 9b which is close to everything, it is the most requested building. Have a great time!!

thanks fo rthe infor everyone, you have all been helpful. I will be looking at all those links listed. This will hopefully answer some of my questions befoe I have to ask them. i do have lots more questions! Net step is trying to figure out if I cna ask for a certain building, and if so, which one to ask for. The resort sounds beautiful, even better than I imagined. I am also trying to figure our how many day pass to get for the parks- should I get a pass for the day I arrive?, for example. But, the resort lok so beautiful, I just might not get a pass for the day I arrive- just spend that day exploring. trip is August 14.
thanks again, and pass along any and all helpful hints! i wouldl ove to get email advise from any of you as well- You are all great people!
