Question concerning 60 day reservation date

Shouldn't I be able to book March 22nd today? I can only book March 21st. My onsite stay begins March 25 and everything points to being able to book my stay beginning Monday.

You can only book 60 + 10 from your onsite day. I think that works out to jan 24th (25 March days plus 28 feb days plus 7 jan days)

Yes, but what I'm saying is that my MDE reservation calendar is a day behind. Today, 60 days from today, I should be able to book March 23rd. The calendar only lets me book up to March 22, like it's a day behing. My 60 day mark is on Monday. If it's a day behind I won't be able to book like I should, which puts me at a -1 day disadvantage.

Ok i get it. Interesting when i log onto MDE using a chrome browser, I can only book for the 22nd. However, when I go to the Disneyworld app on my iPhone I can book the 23rd. Also when I go to individual restaurant websites (i.e. just go to Crystal Palace website for example), it allows me to book 23rd as well.

However, MDE only goes till 22nd (so you’re not alone).

I guess on your 60th day, I recommend going to the individual restaurant websites as well as having the app on hand.

That's what I think I'm going to do. However, doing that CRT does not show breakfast - only lunch and dinner. Also, did you notice all the restaurants you can currently book for yesterday?

ETA: My other fear is that my 60 day booking window won't open Monday as it should, as it shows the dining a day behind.

hey, wanted to check if you got your reservations done? Also now i'm having an issue with Chef Mickey only showing dinner (and not breakfast). Did you get the MDE page to show your 60+10 or did you have to book via each restaurants webpage?

I was able to book all at 60+ but it was glitchy. I had to keep refreshing or go to the restaurant page as I was having trouble getting breakfast, sometimes lunch. It took me 5 minutes to get a Coral Reef lunch because it kept showing only dinner

Sometimes I had to go by time. It took me forever to get a dinner for AK Rainforest to show up

ETA: I also kept getting script, can't process your request at this time, but only a couple Someone ate the page. I'd refresh and sometimes had to sign back in. It was grueling but I got it done
Right now, I can't get Capture your moment AK to show up for our last park day, April 1. Not sure I want to endure the phone call for it.

thanks for letting me know. Were you able to book from MDE or only from the restaurant webpages? The issue you're having on only one time showing up is cropping up a lot. I noticed chef mickey today was only showing dinner times for a bit.

Were you booking any of Chef Mickey, Space 220, CRT, Storypoint or Sci Fi Drive in during your stay. Curious what days post 60 you were able to get them.

I got Space 220 first. I wanted the lounge, and the first available was 60+6. More availability showing at the restaurant.
I got CRT at 60+5. However, we aren't planning on going to the parks until 60+4. Lots available also got Capture your moment MK at the time/day I wanted. Lots available for Ogas. I'm seeing Chef Mickeys at 60+4 and Storybook at 60+5 decent times (I have better luck searching by time rather than lunch, dinner etc)
Parties of 4 and 6

I'm also seeing Storybook at 60+4. I arrive on Friday, so Saturday, Sunday booked

I'm also seeing lots of availability for Space restaurant at 60+5. The lounge is definitely the hardest to get. I even got the Rose and Crown Fireworks Dinner, lots of availability at 60+. Monday Epcot is booked because it's extra evening hours.

ETA: Overall, it was an ordeal. Sometimes restaurants wouldn't show, or my 60+ wouldn't show on the restaurant page. When I went to the individual restaurant, I couldn't get breakfast/lunch to show up, only dinners. I kept refreshing and eventually I could get the time to show up if I searched by time. I also had to continuously keep signing in. When I'd get the script/error (can't process at this time/ ate the page) I'd refresh and sign back in or just keep clicking the select button and eventually it would work. I'm not very good with the app and was able to make a couple of reservations through the app when I couldn't get the webpage to cooperate. Overall, took me over an hour of trying and shifting until I got it right.

Also, the system is glitching again. I get an error message when using the restaurant page. If I go through the individual restaurant and app, I can book.

Thank you. This is very very helpful. Really appreciate your comments. My 60+ opens next Monday so looks like I need to set aside a proper house to get everything done. I've also heard its better to search by time than by breakfast/lunch/dinner.

The system is super buggy though - I just searched chef mickey for 07:30 on a random day and got no availability. I then searched for 08:00 on same day and it showed a 07:40 availability. Tried 07:30 again and no availability. Not sure why disney can't get their IT together!

Good luck with your reservations! I would definitely go for the lounge first, unless you're wanting the restaurant. Much easier to get the restaurant.

ETA: I also took the advice to get up early and open the individual restaurant windows. Then you can just go across the page and click on the next one in line. Saves precious time. If it hadn't been for the glitches (no breakfast/lunch options, having to refresh and sign back in, and error messages), it would have been a breeze. In the end, though I got everything I wanted except Space Lounge at 60+4.

thank. We have two kids (nine and five) so are aiming to go for lunch at the restaurant while at Epcot. I'm hoping that is an easier reservation as the lounge seems more popular. Also i'm in London, UK, so for me the reservation window opens at a very respectable 11am!! Thank you so much for your help.

We are hoping to secure Chef Mickey, CRT, Sci Fi Dine in, Artist Point and Space 220. However, are there for 9 days (with on park days from day 4 onwards), so hoping we can secure those harder to obtain reservations towards the end of our stay.

If you don't get all of the ones you need, check out the reservation finder (I use Touring Plans) and the Dis reservation forum has monthly posts with cancellations.

Thanks for this. Reservations next Monday, and would like to try for Space Lounge, however, the latest I could do it is 60+4. If I get it, fine. If not, I'll live. I would also like to try and book Up Close With Rhinos, which seems really hard to get.

You’re the same as I in that the on-site starts on a Friday. I just checked and there is availability for Rhinos at 60+4 on. The weekend is between so the availability is through the week. Just be sure to be online at the time of booking and I checked the world clock. My computer was off by 47 seconds which can be a big deal. I don’t know how your app is but when I pull mine up it shows I’m signed in but I’m really not. I have to sign out then back in. Otherwise your 60+ won’t open. The computer is fine. My phone just makes me think I’m signed in when I’m really not. I figured that out a couple of years ago while practicing to get a VQ for Rise.

I owe you again! I check in on a Thursday, and when I read your post, I went back and recounted the days. I make ADRs on Sunday, not Monday!
Good, then you should definitely get it. (fingers crossed- though it's a fairly busy spring break week, but a lot of the Florida schools are breaking before and after. When I checked for availability, I checked for a party of 4
