Question? Best Japanesse/foreign automaker?

Just curious between Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Subaru & Mazda?

I voted for Honda, but Toyota is right there as well.

I see you didn't include Subaru.

Toyota and Honda are pretty much equal but I voted for Toyota based on personal experience with them. We have had several Toyotas in our extended family and a few Hondas. None of the Toyotas have ever needed any repairs, a couple of the Hondas have, but nothing major, so I picked Toyota over Honda for that reason.

I voted Toyota,but I also love Honda (the first car I bought, all by myself) was a little Honda Civic Coupe, I loved that car.

But I LOVE my Highlander more.

If the Forresters are still as great as they are now in about 10 years, that is my next car.

Toyota. I own one and as long as you take care of them they will last until YOU decide to get rid of it! I love mine!

Have owned both Toyota and Honda. I have to give Toyota the very "slight" edge over Honda.

Actually if Nissan was there I would bote for them. We have owned 2 different Nissans 1 an Altima and 2 a Quest. I have never had any type of mechanical problems and only needed to keep up the matinence.

I vote for Nissan with Honda a close second. I've had several of each and they make excellent cars!

Honda is tops for me. Just what they offer and how well they run. Toyota isn't bad to me, but not as good as they used to be IMO

Nissan and Subaru aren't bad either.

Mazda is with Ford though, not sure I completely see them as just "foreign"

I vote for Honda. I love my current Honda Accord, but it's on it's way out (needs a new engine!), but it hit 200,000 miles today, so I really can't complain! Very reliable for almost 12 years. My prior car was also a Honda that I loved. And for my next car coming soon, I am looking at only Hondas.

Hondas have a little better style and toyotas have the better reliability in my experience.

For cars I'd give it to Honda, but it's Toyota for trucks/SUVs.

I won't tell you who I voted for, but I will tell you that I have worked for Toyota for nearly 15 years you figure it out
