Question about Wilderness Lodge

I just booked a sleigh ride for my dh and myself in December.

The person I spoke with while making the reservations said to go the Port Cachere (?) to take our ride. Do you think she meant Port Cashier?

Does anyone know where this is at the Wilderness Lodge? She was hard to understand, but this is the way she spelled it.

Has anyone done this before? If so, where did you go for the sleigh ride?

She probably meant the Porte Cochere which is the big awning/porch area in front of the WL where cars drop off their luggage and stuff. I've never taken a sleigh ride at WL so that is only a guess.

Basically a fancy term for Car Port or in this case, coach port.

I would double check just to be safe, I know Port Orleans has carriage rides, make sure you definitly got WL!

We did the Sleigh Ride at WL last Christmas and you meet up with the driver at the main entrance/car port/Porte Cochere. It was a lot of fun.. you'll have a great time!

Here's the info. If you want to go, you need to book as soon as possible. I hear they sell out early.

Back for the Christmas Holidays, this horsdrawn "sleigh" ride is a fun way to celebrate the season at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort.

Price: $35.00 (including tax)

Can accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults with 3 children ages 9 and under.

Offered from 12/1 thru 12/30/06. This 25 minute sleigh ride departs every 30 minutes from 5:30 - 9:30pm. (Note that on 12/24, the hours are 4:00 - 8:00pm)
