Question About Villians

Does anyone know if Villians appear at any parks during the summer? I heard they do sometimes but not every year. If they do when and where is that announced?

There was a hard-ticket villains party at DHS in 2014 but it didn't return this year. You can typically meet Gaston and the Tremaines at Magic Kingdom, but that's pretty much it for everyday villains M&Gs, I think.
