There is supposed to be a remake coming out sometime this year of what I call the creepiest horror flick I've seen to date. It was originally a made for tv film called Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark, which aired back in the 70's.
Apparently, Katie Holmes is supposed to be in a remake that is due out in 2010 from Miramax? pictures. Unless I've been under a rock lately, I thought Miramax was extinct. The IMDB website has this project in "post production", but has not updated since September '09. I have Googled this movie project and nothing seems updated, other than the actors who have signed on.
Since Miramax is/was under the Disney umbrella....does anyone know anything on this? Or does anyone know the most accurate website for upcoming movie news?? Everything I find when searching is outdated. Since it's already 2010, you'd think there would be a set release date or trailer or something.
When did Miramax drop off the earth, and does this mean chances of this film's release is slim to none, even in post production?
