My daughter and I have 7 day hopper passes for our up coming trip. We also have the free dinning, How do I (or can I) up grade MY ticket (when we get there) to an AP? And I want to up grade it to a premium AP too, so we can do the water parks too.

Do I have to use my 7 day hopper ticket one day first, then up grade it? How much will the up grade cost? Will I loose my 7 days of dinning???? :confused3

I want to up grade so when I make plans for DH and my trip in Jan. I can get an AP discount, since they don't seem to be having general public discounts anymore....

You don't have to use your 7 day hopper before you upgrade it. Just take the ticket (even if it's encoded onto your room key) to a Guest Relations location at one of the parks or at Downtown Disney and tell that CM you want to upgrade to a PAP. The CM will take care of it for you. The resorts cannot do any transactions that involve Annual passes.

You'll just pay the difference between the hopper ticket and the PAP.

The upgrade wil not affect your free dining.

Best wishes -

The price of a PAP is $515 for adults and $438 for kids 3-9.
Regular AP $395 adults $336 kids 3-9.

The upgrade will depend on how much you paid for the 7 day pass, you will pay the difference between the two.
