Question about two rooms on pincode

We are planning on traveling with my sister's family and staying at the same resort. My sister received a room only pincode and was going to book both rooms under one reservation.

My question is this: if they decide to stay off-property for two days and then join us, can we check in at Disney earlier than they do?

The rooms would be under one name and reservation, but we would check in separately - or does my sister need to check us in?

I hope this makes sense. Thanks very much for any info.

Your sister should be able to book 1 room for her family and 1 room for your family using the same pin code. Your dates simply need to overlap. They do not need to be exactly the same. The resv for your room should be in your name, not your sisters and you would check in as you normally would. I don't see why she would be booking your room in her name....?

Oh, I made a mistake. I didn't mean to say the reservation would be under one name. It would be two - I just meant she would call to reserve both.

Thanks for your answer!
