I was wondering about TS sharing on the dining plan. If you share a adult TS credit do you just order another coke and tell the waitress that you will being paying for that drink OP? What about the kids meals, how big are they usually? I was wondering if my kids would be able to share a credit and me and DH shared and then we would have one TS left for our last day since we will be there for 6 full days  I have heard that at most places the adult portions are large, then add appetizer and dessert to that :earseek: Do they frown on you sharing on the plan, what has been the experiences of those of you that have done this. We are getting the dining plan for free :) but Disney will get my money either way because now we will spend more money on other stuff in the parks :rolleyes1

I seem to recall that folks have noticed that Disney's restaurant portions are coming more in line with rationality. (Perhaps Richard Simmons has been on their backs about how abusively huge portions have been up to now! :rotfl: ) There is nothing in the current rules for the dining program that prevents sharing food at table service restaurants, but that could change before you arrive. Also, I suppose individual restaurant could have their own policies about sharing on their individual menus, if they wish, but again I haven't read any reports of that, at least not yet. There are no guarantees that that won't be the case, though. (Of course, as you alluded to, the kind of sharing you suggest is prohibited at buffets.)

I wouldn't really tie this in your mind to how much money you're going to spend on other things. It's really hard to tell how a program like this does or doesn't affect your own spending habits, but even if you could, what matters is the big picture -- what everyone does or doesn't do -- so the policies and procedurs will reflect what is necessary to ensure that the program is used as it was intended to be used. That's the main reason why the program details are subject to change without notice.

My recommendation is to go with the flow, not rely on anything other than what was explicitly promised, and not assume that you will or will not be able to do anything that isn't explicitly described as part of the program.
