Question about transferring points

We have a new SSR contract so no points until Aug. We're planning a trip during Memorial Week (Sun-Thurs), so were thinking about renting someone's points for that time. If we did that, could they just transfer them to our account and we make our own ressie?

You might want to check with MS to make sure you technically have a usable account prior to your closing. You may need to find another member to rent a reservation in your name instead of a transfer, but I'd sure check with MS before sending any money for a transfer.
