We just bought in to DVC!! Yeah! The question I have is if my aunt transfers some of her points into my account and then we change our plans, can we transfer her points back to her? Many thanks!

Correct me someone if I'm wrong, but I think if you transfer points, those points cannot be transferred back and must be used that use year. You can however (assuming you have other points available) transfer some of your point to her.

Is that right?

You cannot transfer points into and out of an account in the same year. Thus you cannot transfer those points back to your aunt (or to anyone else), and if you wanted to transfer some of your own points to her, you'd have to wait till next year and do it with next year's points.

Points transferred into an account can be banked, however, so you actually would have two years to use them. Note that they retain their original UY.

If you have points in your account, you could transfer points out to your aunt, but they can't be points that have ever been moved. Points can only be moved once, so banked points cannot be moved to her account, but current use-year points could be moved. I am not sure if the restriction on moving points in and out in the same year is still in force, but it used to be that points couldn't be moved into and out of one account in the same year.

As far as I know, the one-way per year transfer restriction is still in place.
There is one exception to the "points can only be moved once" rule, and that is transferred points can be banked by the recipient (subject to all normal banking rules of course).
