Does everyone in your party have to be present to sign in/get a pager or can one person give the name and number of people and then joined later by the other person?

Trying to figure out the 4pm opening with the 4:30 start time for the kids babysitting club.

Would they allow all four of us inside, then after the kids had a drink, let one of us leave to take them to the babysitting, then return to the table?

Thanks

We were there last week. Had a party of 5. Checked in at 3:30 and were 9-13th in line and were given a pager and told the whole party must be present to go in when it went off. If you leave they give you hand stamp to come back. It was for the restroom but I am sure you can explain it is to drop the kids off and may take a moment while the rest hold a spot for that person.

What time did you get in? And what time did you line up before getting the pager?

We went on Sunday, April 12. We arrived around 3:40 and were about 20 - 22 in line. They stamped everyone's wrists and then let us in at 4 pm. I don't see why they wouldn't let one of you leave with the kids after they've had their drinks then come back? I would just explain to the host what you are doing so that once the children leave, they could let 3 more people in.

We arrived about 3:30 and got in right at 4. The night be fore we arrived at 8:45 pm. We received a pager and they said it would be about a half hour. We were called in less than 10 minutes.

I'm planning on being there one day next week. I'm hoping to find just one seat for myself at the bar to hang out for a bit & check it out. I figured if I get there around 3:30-3:45, my chances would still be pretty good of getting in w/the 1st group. But if I'm wrong, there's always good ole Tambu. :)

1) Before you leave, talk to the SEATER (the podium person).
2) If they assume you are leaving, they might let a like number of people back in.
3) In such a case, they might be at capacity and not let you back in.

Ok thanks. TS is my entire anniversary ngiht focus so knowing when to make the appointment for the kids helps a lot!!!

Wow, I am really out of the loop...

This is a BAR, right? You have to get a pager to go in a bar? Holy cow! Is it like that all night? I would typically go to a bar probably around 9:00 PM. Is it still this way later in the evening? So surprised by this!!

1) It is new.
2) It really is that busy/popular.
3) My only other occurrence like this was when I was in college and a new bar opened on campus. *

* Of course, this was a LONG time ago. During the time when the Earth was still cooling and dinosaurs roamed, we crowded into anything that seemed safe, and had lots of alcohol. We didn't know it as alcohol, just Grog - the original Craft Beer. (After all, you wouldn't expect us to eat "Paleo" without some kind of encouragement?)

From what I have read, there is only a capacity of 51. Also there are lots of special effects, and special drinks, etc. Watch a couple of the videos. You will see the appeal. AND it is new, so people who have done everything, or almost everything, have to go.
