Question about tickets linked to MDE

So for our March trip I loaded up our new 10 day WP&M non-expiring tickets because we do not follow a rigid park plan and I wasn't sure if our current tickets would last for the entire trip. Each of us has a different number of theme park days & water park days left on our current ones.

When we returned, I checked MDE and it pulled our admissions for the theme parks from our new tickets, not our currently existing, already been partially used ones.

I guess ultimately it doesn't matter, but it bothers my internal tidiness genes that they did that. My son. for example, now has 3 different tickets linked to his name, when one of them could have been used to completion with that trip. And due to all the MDE problems I am feel like I have to take the paper tickets with us when we go in case something goes awry.

When it says "Admission: 2 Days Remaining" under a specific ticket, am I correct in assuming that it means theme park, not the WP&M? What will show after the theme park admissions are all gone and only water park ones remain?

Is there a way to find out how many admissions of each kind are left on an individual ticket short of going to guest services once at the parks?

Thanks!

Any ticket/MDE gurus out there know which admissions are listed on the MDE ticket page?
