Hope someone can answer my question. I have a trip planned for Oct for my birthday and to attend MNSSHP. My dbf was supposed to be there with me the whole time, but due to his grad school schedule he can’t make it down until Wednesday (I am arriving Sunday). I originally checked into removing him from the package (we have the dining plan) or having separate packages but both were more expensive according to our AAA agent (still can’t figure that one out). Well my little brother (19) will be on fall break that week and I would love to fly him down for the three days my dbf can’t be there since the room, tickets and meals are paid for anyway. My question is would it be possible for them to use the same ticket? I am not trying to scam anyone out of anything, I am paying for two adults for eight days, it just wouldn’t be the same two adults the whole week. Is it possible to do this or are the MYW tickets biometric. TIA!

How about doing a split stay? You can book a room-only stay for yourself for Sun.-Wed.. Buy a MYW pass for yourself with 1 less day than you'd origianally planned. You won't have the dining package for those few days (Sun. night, Mon. and Tues.). But I'm willing to wager that you won't eat more than $35 worth of food each day dining by yourself.

Then book a package for you and your bf for Wed.-?. Get 1-day Base tickets as a part of the package for you and dbf. Add the dining package for both of you. Once you check in to your 2nd room, you can take his ticket to Guest Services and upgrade it to the number of days that he needs. You won't need to upgrade your pass since you'll already have the one from the start of your trip.

It should still come out to less than booking him as a part of the package for the full trip. I cannot undersatnd how your AAA agent could possibly have it figured out to cost more if he's staying fewer days?

I have no idea how that worked out either, but it was like $35 more to do separate packages or split reservations. So I just kept the original and plan on using the extra meals for Hoop De Doo and CRT. Oh well!
