Question about those BIG ice cream cookie sandwiches!

Do you get them at the Main St. Bake shop (how much are they when you get them) or the Main St. Ice Cream shop?

And... how big are they (compared to the palm?) They sound so delicious! Can't wait!!!!

If memory serves me correct, i believe you get them at the main st bakery shop. Its the one that shares its inside with the glass blowers shop, because after we pay, i sit at the table there and watch them make the glass sculptures and look at the fabulous castle made of glass.

I would be guessing that the price was about $4.50 each or so. they are so good, i cant wait to get one in another week or so.

Never had any of the ones from the bakery--but they do sell a Nestle Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwich from the ice cream carts throughout all the parks. They're $3.50 and not bad!

The big ones at the Main Street Ice Cream Shop are about $4.50 and are definitely bigger than the Nestle ones. My dh prefers the Nestle ones because the cookies are soft. The ones at the Main Street store tend to be a little hard, still fresh, but not soft....unless we went on a day when the overcooked the cookies. You can get any flavor ice cream too!

You can also buy them at Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square. I actually prefer the ones here to the ones on Main Street.

I think the best ice cream cookies sandwiches can be found at Sleepy Hollow in MK. The cookies are always really fresh and gooey. In fact, I have several pictures of my husband with chocolate all over his face, shirt, etc. And, they are very big.

That's probably why it's better to buy the bakery ones or the ones at Sleepy Hollow because there's no wrapper involved and you don't know how many calories you're eating!!

Let's not talk about gaining weight. I just returned after walking 12 hours a day for 8 days and STILL gained a couple pounds! (and I only ate 1 ice cream sandwich)

The GIANT ice cream sandwiches are the BEST!!!! I have been to WDW many, many times and just discovered them this past Sept. I will be heading down there this Wed. and cannot wait to have one!!!!!!

I paid $3.72 (including tax) last week for the Choc. Chip Ice Cream Sandwich at the Main Street Bakery. It was very big and very good. If you buy it at the Main Street Bakery, you can only get it with vanilla ice cream. To get different flavor ice cream you have to purchase them at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street.

My memory is at the bakery and sleepy hollow you can only get vanilla ice cream but get to pick what kind of cookies you get. At the ice cream parlor you can pick the flavor of ice cream but you have fewer choices as to what kind of cookies.

Oh, I just looove the Cookie ice cream sandwich, I can't wait to get one in 2 weeks!!! I think I just gained 2 pounds just by reading this thread!!

We always buy it at the Main Street bakery. The thing is huge- 2 of us share it-sometimes 3 of us. The bonus is you get to pick the cookies and can chose 2 different for top and bottom- like a chocolate chocolate chip and a peanut butter one! yummy

This was from the Main St. Bake Shop. I think we had one chocolate chip cookie and one sugar cookie with vanilla ice cream. Honestly, I'd been looking forward to it for so long after reading about it on these boards but found the cookies too crumbly. I prefer a very soft cookie for my ice cream sandwiches. However, dd7 in the photo loved the treat!
