Question about the Swan/Dolphin

I was looking at the pictures on this web site and noiced a sign about bus transportation. The sign didn't say a bus will go to Epcot or MGM? Is the only way to those two parks by boat or walking? We will be traveling with someone in a scooter so I know the boat is out of the question, and the walk/ride is it far? Will it take alot of the battery on the scooter just to get there? Any help would be great!!!

Hi, yes to get to Epcot or MGM it is walk or boat. People with ECVs ride the boats all the time. The CMs put down a ramp and then the guest can drive the scooter right onto the boat. It is very roomy in the back of the boat.

The only way from S/D to Epcot or MGM is boat or walking. It is a 10 minute walk to Epcot and a 15 minute walk to MGM. The scooter probably can be accomodated on the boat, so that should not be ruled out.

It is also a nice walk if the scooter can zip around that much As Lives4Disney said, ECV's ride the boats all the time - no problem!

I stay at Swan often and I take my scooter on the boat every time no problem at all. you can also zip to either on the scooter and walking. MUCH better then taking a bus, UGH!
Your batteries if they are in good shape will last at least ten miles before they need to recharge so it is no problem.

Walking to Epcot is not a problem at all, no more than 10 mins. MGM is longer but it's not a problem at all.
