Question about the "free" dining promotion??

We are planning on staying in either Coronado Springs or CBR for our December trip. "Free" dining promotion was released today, my family and I decided to go with the QSDP this time.
My question is...Will they let me use the promotion for the QSDP instead of the standard DDP if I am staying in a moderate instead of a value resort?

Why not just go with the regular dining plan, and you can use it for counter service as well as table service? You can use your table service credits at counter service.

That way you can also do a few table service meals if you want.

We did the standard plan last time and don't want to stop our day for ADRs. Don't get me wrong we like the standard plan we just want to enjoy our time at the parks more than planning our day around sit down meals.

The answer to the original question is no. They do not let you drop down the plan level (even at the same cost).

Some people have been able to use the TS credits at the resort food court. It seems to be the best place to do the exchange from a TS to a CS.

You will have to see if the Free DDP is worth it. If you have a room discount, that may be a better deal than the Free DDP, which you plan on using the TS as CS meals.

I don't find doing one TS meal a day takes away from our park touring. I like the break from the parks and enjoy having a sit down meal.
