My bf and I are taking my mom to the world in March. She is 54, but very active. We have all our dining planned, and are staying onsite to make resting easy if she DOES want to (I doubt it, shes a park commando like me). LOL! I am booking the Behind the Seeds tour, as she is a big gardener, but the rest of the time we will be riding rides, as we are all 3 big kids! We were wondering of any good night spots for her? She is single, and we aren't pushing, but would like to take her out to dance and have a good time. Anyone know of any good spots?

I'm 53 and love going solo. Take her to the Boardwalk, there are plenty of entertainment there in the evening to do (JellyRolls, Atlantic Dance Hall, ESPN, etc).

i'm 57 and want you to know that your mom is not doddering age yet.

We've been trying to talk my MIL 85 into going with us on our annual trip. She'd really love the Flower & Garden Festival.

Since you are going in March, check when the F&G fest starts. Your mother would love the Flower Power concerts.

Jellyrolls is a blast. I'm sure she'd have a great time there. I thought Behind the Seeds was excellent, too. Another activity that gets my highest recommendation is doing a Segway tour. I've done both the Fort Wilderness and Epcot Segway tours several times and always have a great time.

54 is still young, I'll have you know!:rotfl2:

I'm 56 and can run circles around most when I'm at WDW!:)

My mom is 77 now and we took her to JRs in October. She enjoyed it a lot. She has also enjoyed the behind the seeds tour a couple of years ago.

Every October My Mom and I got to Disney last year I took her and her twin -
for there 65th to Jellyrolls.

They LOVED it and asked to go back.

I can hardly keep up with them, they never sleep. :grouphug:

Well said ladies. I went in AUg at 54. I had just had foot surgery 6 weeks before and I still got around with very little problem. Never rented a wheelchair.
