My girlfriend and myself will be going to Florida next month, and will be staying with a friend of my family who lives in Orlando. We plan on going to the parks for 5 days, and were wanting to stay at least one night at one of the value resorts with the dinning plan. My question is, is it possible to book 1 night at one of the value resorts with a 5 day park hopper ticket, along with the dinning plan? I know that you can't use the dinning plan unless you are staying on site, so will I be able to use it on the days we are staying at WDW? Any help would be much appreciated..

if you are only staying one night, you would only be able to get one day of DDP... yeah, you can book a package for a one night stay and get a 5 day ticket... but you might be going about this backward... you can get discount tickets, stay cheap off site, and probably save a lot more than you would with DDP.

Yep, I agree - you only receive dining credits based on the number of nights you stay at a Disney resort, not the number of days on your park ticket ;)
