Question about room rates

Crazy question about room rates...If I booked a trip a long time back, say early - mid 2005, and wanted to change resorts, will I still get the 2005 rate. Have the rates even changed (this I am not sure about). Also, on a sort of unrelated note we were looking at upgrading to a tower room at the CR, right now we have a Garden Wing, and want to upgrade, but the Tower is booked (or possible change resorts to the Poly, hence the earlier quest). What are the chances that something opens up in the Tower, before we go. By the way we are going June 11-18, if that means anything. Thank you for any help in advance.

Whatever you book now will be in 2006 rates.

Even if you booked in 2005 you are going to pay 2006 rates.
