Question about resorts/dining/tickets

Do you know if I can reserve a room & get the dining plan w/o purchasing the tickets? I bought my tickets about a month ago at the Disney Store & now I find that it might be more cost efficient to go with the dining plan.

Or, has anyone been able to link their previously purchased tickets with a package?

To get the dining plan, you need a package which includes tickets. You need to buy at least a one day ticket for everyone in the room. I do not think you can use previously purchased tickets to make the package.

Darn! I was hoping they could somehow link my tickets to a package. I bought them at the Disney Store...thinking we would be better off staying off site.

You have to buy them, but you don't have to use them for this trip - buy everybody a 1 day non-hopping pass (cheapest option) then put them away and use the ones you already bought at the disney store. You could always use them on another trip or toward the purchase of an AP.
Of course, depending on how many people you are, buying extra tix may negate any money you sanve on DDP. But I wanted to make sure you knew you could hang on to them as long as you don't use them.
