No - not THAT question!!! :)

Do you and your DH/DW share a mug during your stay - or do you each purchase your own?

Do you make your children share one? Or does everyone get their own?

When we are staying at a resort that offers these, DH and I each get our own - and the kids get none!!!

Seriously - my oldest does not like soda, and the younger two aren't allowed soda for health reasons (heart problems - soda is NOT a good idea!). We bring a Brita bottle for everyone, and occasionally I will fill my refillable mug with lemonade for a treat for the girls. At meals, they buy a milk, or drink out of their water bottles, sometimes they will buy a juice.

The last couple of stays we've stayed concierge level for that reason - with 5 of us in one room, the price break is pretty inexpensive, and it covers breakfast, and all the juices and milks that the kids can drink! The only trouble is - I miss my mug when I get home! I don't like the old big chunky ones - and my car sized All-Star mug is getting worn out!

Not to sound like a snit - but this is our first trip in a while where we HAVEN'T stayed concierge...hehehe...I'm going to miss all the unlimited coffee! (and breakfast! DH and I aren't big breakfast people - coffee and fruit or a muffin does us well.)

maybe i'll suck it up and get 2 mugs this time...I can easily drink $12 worth (or however much they are) of coffee in one week! heheh

Parents get their own, the kids drink Milk. Sometimes parents share with kids if mug is filled with water or maybe lemonade.

But definately one for each adult (especially for coffee: DW takes it sweet, I prefer the taste of coffee unadulterated by sugar, thx).

It's only me and my two small children. We always buy 2 mugs. My daughter (5) and I usually share the mug and my son has his. Sometimes my daughter would want something I don't feel like having, so I just buy a one time only cup, but normally, she would just want water. She loves water! Good for her! :)

At CBR, we bought 3, I think it's better this way. Everyone gets to pick whatever drink they want.

I am for sure when they get a little bigger, every resort we stay at, we would have to buy 3.

I no longer purchase the Mugs. We bring our own drinks.

We will be buying 2 mugs, and sharing them. Probably I will share with one child, and DH will share with a child. None of us drink soda much, the kids aren't allowed any, they drink milk or water.

We each get our own. We consider that part of our souvineirs too and it's fun to collect mugs from each place we've stayed.

We buy one mug for DH.

Sometimes at night we'll send DD11 to refill the mug and we'll all sip off it while watching some TV....but basically it's DH's mug.

We each get our own mug. None of us really wants to drink the same thing and to me it is worth buying 4 mugs just to keep everyone happy.

I'd go for each family member gets there own. IF your thirsty, its a lot better than having to fight over a cup. And with the weather there, I'm sure you'll be thirsty. I hope you have a great time when you go!::MickeyMo

Well it's just Dbf and I, but we each get our own mug...Neither of us likes what the other one is drinking...When I used to go with my family as a child (haha that sounds crazy i'm only 20, but anyway), there were 5 of us and each of us got our own mug...No sense in fighting over what to fill it with

We buy 5 one for each of us. We use them for breakfast and dinner each day so we get our monies worth. We have breakfast, bring them to the room and when we arrive back at the end of the day we send the fast son to the room to get the cups while we head to the food court, works out well. Of course the lemonade and fruit punch were the most popular drinks for us.

I didn't think you were allowed to share mugs....

Of course you are not "allowed" to share mugs technically, that is the point is it not of this whole post? to see who will admit to rule beaking? I am surprised that we have not had the usual flood of oh we bought our mugs five years ago and always bring them and use the same ones, whether they are even from the resort we are staying at or not!

I don't use them at all myself. Hate fountain soda.
