Question about reservations (PS)

I was just told by some friends that they made a reservation for everyday and that if they didnt go to it it was ok that they were just a holding spot?
Is that true?

Basically i could make a reservation for every lunch but make it to only 2 and im not going to get in trouble??

I wouldlove to over estimate by a night or 2 but dont want the hassle of canceling etc etc etc

anyone know if this is true?
he said he didnt have to give his credit card or anything only for FANTASMIC dinner package

Unless you have to give a CC card # then tou don't get in trouble BUT it is only common courtesy to cancel a PS if you don't plan on going .

The restaurants that require a CC# will penalize you if you don't cancel. Otherwise, no there is no problem in making PS just in case....But not cancelling them is preventing someone else the chance of grabbing that PS time slot. And in the busy times of year, those PS are very precious.
