Question about renting dvc

Hello all! We are renting dvc points at akl on from June 3-9. We are driving and are staying in Orlando for a few days before our stay at AKL.

We have 7 day park hopper plus passes. I know this means that we have 7 entries into a water park(and put-put, etc), and another 7 entries into a park.

So...Can we use our magic bands they send us to enter the water park before our stay at AKL?

As long as both are linked to your account, you should be able to use them before your stay at AKL.

But I don't think you will be able to use them for charging until you check into your resort. You should be able to use them for your ticket.

I am pretty sure this is correct! I think you can only use the bands for charging once you are checked in on Disney property
