question about PSB

Unfortunately we won't be staying onsite since my uncle just offered us to use his timeshare. Our ADR's are at 9:50 and I have no idea how early we should leave to make it on time. I did read that there is a backdoor entrance to Epcot in the World Showcase but by looking at the map it's closer from the main entrance. Any suggestions on how long it would take to get to Norway???

I would arrive in the parking lot by 9:00. I don't know how far it is from your timeshare, but I have heard recently that getting to Epcot by car and parking isn't a problem, not like MK. If you get through the gates by 9:15 you should make it to Norway in plenty of time with a little time to spare.

There is a backdoor to Epcot, but I'm not sure where you would park. The backdoor is primarily for guests of the Epcot area resorts (although anyone can use it). The problem is the parking areas are for the Epcot area resorts (and visitors going to the restaurants or shopping there).

thank guys. We're in the process of elimination and it just so happens that 1st choice resort is the closest.

I cant help you with the back door entrance, but I would like to add, that in the event you are running late, the PSB is set up to handle that!! I only know because, it happened to us!! I had the timing all planned, and dh and dd hate that we're always early - 20 min sometimes... so I tried not to be commando on the vacation, well... I forgot to factor in a "wait" time for the monorail!! So we were late... and it is quite a walk from the monorail main entrance to Norway... I think we were almost 30 min late for our PS time - but they took us in right when we got there!!

Leave yourself plenty of time. Walking at a leisurely pace from the front entrance to Norway should only take 10 minutes or so; however, you will need to park in the main lot, get to the main entrance, then work your way through the entrance--each of those take time. If it were me, I'd plan to be at the main entrance NLT 9 a.m., and if you make it early to PSB, you might just get lucky and be seated early. Have fun! Our DD4 has loved it both times we went.
