Thanks to all of you I've become so much better about using coupons. I'm almost even ready to venture into the Target savings thread! :rotfl: I have one question though - when you print coupons do you have to print them in color? I feel like i'm wasting so much ink especially when I have to throw away some of the coupons I don't use.

Thank you!

I'm too cheap to buy a color cartridge for our printer (they are expensive for our printer), so everything is in B&W. No one has complained so far, and I've been doing it for over a year now. :thumbsup2

Thank you! DH was about to kill me for using all the ink when he wanted to print our summer vacation pictures.

I also only print my coupons in black and white and have been doing so for more than a year without any problem.

Some of my local stores & supermarkets will only accept color prints, especially for large dollar off amounts or free items. Also, many will only accept 1 internet coupon per checkout - like if I'm buying 3 boxes of Cheerios, I can only redeem 1 internet coupon towards one box (even if I have 3 50 cents off coupons - they will only take one per transaction)

I print mine in color, but only draft quality. I was printing in better quality and found some of the scanners couldn't read the coupon. They read much better in draft.

Thanks everyone! I had already done color this week, but I'll try b&w next week and see what Publix says. Yesterday was the first time I had anybody give me a little bit of a hard time with coupons. The cashier (I think he was kind of new) kept looking at every one and asking, "Did you get this?", "How many cans of soup did you get?" I told him I was extra careful to only get what was on there but he still asked more. I had a Publix coupon for $1 off OJ if you bought 2 GM cereals. The picture on the coupon was Cheerios but the wording said any variety. He was all confused because I hadn't bought Cheerios!

Oh well, between my coupons and the BOGO deals I saved about $35 so it was worth it. :thumbsup2
