Question about pin code I recieved..

I received a pin code cool1: ) for "fall" (although it includes the dates I'll be going for Christmas) the price quoted in the email is for a value resort.

Can I call and apply this to a moderate or would can it only be used for a value?

I have found that usually you can use the code across the boards -- occasionally there is a code that is only good for one level of resorts - but you won't know until you try!

We got a pin for our August trip, which I disregarded, thinking I wouldn't be going to Disney. Well, we ended booking a trip (just 12 days or so to go!) and we were also offered a discount for the moderate resorts. Disney had my pin on file, because I had called to see if they would price match my Dreams Unlimited quote ( I did not book with the pin originally). They offered me the discount! We got a value for 59.00 a night. I think that the moderate was around 100.00 or so. Give it a shot...the worst they will say is no.

We got to use our pin code (which also had a value resort quote) for the Poly, so I'd say if there are rooms available, you'll get to "upgrade."

Thanks!! How good of a rate did you get?

I would've liked to upgrade to Wilderness Lodge but there are no standard rooms for my dates. There are some for AKL but I don't know about all the construction.

ETA: I got and applied it! Saved me about $260!

For a garden view Poly w/2 adults, we got a rate of $244.00 per night (so with tax, that's $274.50 per night). If you're interested, I'd call sooner than later since the resorts seem to be a-hopping this year.
