Question about Perry's World Showcase Adventure/Pirate's Adventure

My boys are 7 and 9 and would LOVE these interactive games in the parks - but I was reading a blog that stated you had to have a paper ticket to receive the phone for Perry's Adventure.

We are staying onsite, so I assume we will only have our Magic Bands... can you still check out a phone for Perry's Adventure in EPCOT/cards for the Pirate Adventure in MK with just a Magic Band?

There haven't been paper tickets in ages. You can use your magic band.

Just out of curiosity, do you have a link to the blog post?

I'll have to find it. I was just reading about it and the person said they required a paper ticket - I thought that had to be wrong, or a misunderstanding because everyone onsite has a magic band now.

From what I read, the blog said that they needed their KTTW cards, which were plastic, not paper. As PP said, they haven't had paper tickets in years. Regardless, this post was before the full roll-out of Magic Bands, so their experience with bands vs tickets isn't relevant today. Now everyone gets the bands, so you won't have a problem.

That is good to know - I just panicked reading that, but also hadn't noticed the date on the post! I know my boys will LOVE that experience (along with the Pirate Adventure one in MK), so we definitely want to do it!
