Question about park hours

Does anyone know what the "Special Event" is on July 12th from 7:45-9am at Magic Kingdom? I am assuming this is different than Extra Magic Hours. Looking at the My Disney Experience app, it shows the different terminology. Anyone know?

Early Morning Magic. It's a pricey paid event in which people have breakfast & get to ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan's Flight and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh before the park opens. You can look up more info for it on the Disney World website if you're interested.

Thanks for the responses. It would have been nice if Disney had advertised this weeks ago when I was setting up fastvpasd plus assignments. I thought "maybe if we get there at rope drop, we can snag a quick ride on 7DMT before our first FP+."

EMM has been advertised for a few months. You still can get on 7DMT at rope drop, though, if you rush (& take the tea cups route instead of through the castle). Not many people will be at Early Morning Magic.

Another way to get in to the park earlier than rope drop is an early breakfast ressie. We have BOG at 8:00 and the park opens at 9:00 on Aug. 7th...I suppose we'll be competing with those who opted for EMM, but like Shanti says I doubt many will participate.
