Question about Park Hopping & Transportation.

Hello All. Planning my birthday trip here... We're staying offsite

Lets say AK opens at 8. MK MGM and Epcot open at 9. AK closes at 5. MGM at 8 Epcot at 9 and MK at midnight.

If I would like to begin my day at AK at 8am. And end my day at MK at midnight... Just where do i park?

Can you get back to the AK parking lot that late?

Can i park at MK at 7am, and get on a bus to AK? Are the bus's running that early?

We usually stay on site, and dont have this problem... but i have 12 people going, and it would just be too costly to stay onsite.

I'm determined to get to AK for opening. And determined to not have to move my car to another parking lot. There has to be a way to do this. Anyone know?

How about this:

Park in the MK parking lot, walk over to the Polynesian, catch a bus to the AK.

Buses will start about an hour before park opening.

I'm not sure how early the MK parking lot opens.

You may also want to ask on the Transportation board.

I agree with all this. Keep in mind, the parking lot for MK is also called the Transportation & Ticket Center (TTC).

If you want bus transportation from the TTC to AK or MGM, DisGeek is right in that you need to walk next door to the Poly to catch one (it's not more than a 5-minute walk). If you want to go to MK, catch the direct monorail from the TTC or the ferry boat. If you want EPCOT, catch the direct monorail from the TTC.

I would say the TTC lot will be open that early, but I can't be sure. But if you want a place to catch the easiest transportation to all the parks, the TTC really is the best place to park.

Thanks. I've never walked to the Poly from the TTC. Would you know the direct route? I dont want to be wandering around in the parking lot. lol.

Once you get to the ticket booths keep toward the left. There should be signs for the walkway to the Poly.

It's just as easy to not go to the ticket booths, but instead simply walk to the left of the TTC (as you look at it from the parking lot) and walk next door to the Poly bus stop. The Poly bus stop is literally separated by a little thicket of trees from the TTC. The marked path to the Poly is nice, but kind of winds around a little bit before going to the bus stop. The Poly and the TTC are so close together that the two parking lots pretty much sit side by side (the Poly being to the left of the TTC as viewed from the parking lots).

I have no idea. You may have to call them to find that out. Remember, refer to it as the TTC parking lot when talking to them, not the MK lot. They might think you're referring to the bus stop area at MK, which is at MK, rather than the TTC, where guests have to park, which is across the lagoon from MK.
