Question about Pal Mickey

Has anyone ever used the Pal Mickey? We will be leaving on Friday for the Happiest place on earth. My DH and myself are seriously thinking about puchasing the Pal Mickey for both of our DD, ages 4 and 10. Are they worth $65 each? How do they work? Can you buy them at the resorts? THANKS!

Yes, you can buy him at the resorts. I'm 42 and love him - some folks love him, so don't. I find him really cute and love to collect his clothing. Both my DH and I enjoy hearing what he has to say and I look forward to my return visits by seeing him in my office on the shelf!

We bought and used the my pal 2 years ago. The only issue we had was sometimes he wasn't loud enough for the kids to hear over the park activities. And the fact I had 3 boys trying to share him. The neck strap that came with him was very helpful in case someone got tired of holding him. We are bringing him back with us in July.

This years version of PM is louder that version 2 was.

We only have one. He is MOMMIES Pal Mickey to avoid any fighting and Mommie shares very well. They basically take care of him with one getting him up to lunch and the other until dinner. It works out pretty well because you can press his hand and he will repeat things so they do that and let their sibling hear it too. We did lose one last year and it was very tragic but we bought a new one and all was well. The kids love the corny jokes and the one we bought in October was louder than the first generation one we lost.

My son loved his Pal Mickey!! It was a lot of fun in the park and it told us when there was going to be parades or other events going on. It will even play games with you when you are not in the parks, so he still plays with it now and it reminds him of the fun he had when he was there.
