Question about Ohana's

We have a reservation there next week. I know the food comes out family style but is there a kids menu we could order off of for my 6 year old? He is very picky and not sure if he will eat any of the food they serve. Also what all do they give you with your meal? It's been years since I ate there.

Yes, 'Ohana offers a kids menu for the little ones. The normal meal consists of bread, wings, dumplings and salad for starters. There's also noodles and I think some veggies. Then comes the meat: steak, pork and shrimp. Dessert is the most delicious bread pudding ever.

They will have just about any item normally found on the children's menu for your son - chicken nuggets, mac & cheese, PB&J, etc.

The first thing they bring you is pineapple-coconut bread. The last time we ate there (December 2014), the salad had been replaced by self-assembled lettuce wraps filled with noodles & vegetables. The wraps were interesting, but I missed the salad, so I'm glad they seem to have brought it back. You'll also get pot stickers, chicken wings, stir-fry vegetables, and lo mein noodles. The meats are now steak, peel-'n'-eat shrimp, and pork loin... no more chicken. The dessert is still the bread pudding you probably remember (& hopefully love).

No potatoes on the regular menu. I imagine they'd have fries available for the kids.

I think the pork skewer was a temporary change like the lettuce wraps. We ate there in August and the chicken was back and no pork.

The table next to us Ask for french fries from children menu and they provide adult portion of them.
