Question about MS Word 2007 using Vista

First, let me say how much I hate Vista. I regret getting rid of our old computer, because Vista has been nothing but a headache.

So here's my question: In Word, if I open a document that I have saved, how do I then close it? There's no 'x' to close it. The only 'x' is the 'x' that closes out Word completely. Anyone know?

If you have more than one word document open.. click the x. only that one document will close.

...and if you have only one document open, click the Office button at the top left of your screen and select Close at the bottom of the menu.

When you're new to Office 2007, it can be very confusing. Most people don't see the "Office" button because it pretty much just looks like a bit of decoration in the top, left hand corner of the application. Just click the big round button with the Windows icon and you'll see many of the options you thought you were missing.

I used to hate Office 2007, but I've since come to love it.
