Question about MNSSHP & Magic Bands

We will be checking in on a Thursday and checking out on Tuesday. We are using our park tickets on Fri Sat, Sun, Mon. We have plans to attend the Halloween party on the day we check in (Thursday). If I want to use my Magic Bands in the park for pictures for my Memory Maker package, do we just need to be careful not to scan them upon entry? I don't want to activate my tickets until the following day. Has anyone had experience with Magic Bands and hard ticket events? TIA

I don't think you scanning the ticket at entry, or not, has anything to do with getting photos on there. When you take a photo, scan your magic band, it will go into your photopass account.

Use your hard ticket for entry, and scan your band for photos.
