Question about Milk

Is the milk onboard 2% or whole milk? Also, do they have yogurt onboard?

Next question about the milk. I read on the DCL site that milk is available only at meals for free. It says that there is a charge for it for room service. Since Trevor is still drinking bottles (hoping to get him away from them soon) and drinks only milk (or juice on occasion), what is the best way (without charge) to get milk for him for during the day--like snack time or such?

Last cruise we didn't have to worry about that, so this will be new ground with a toddler!

Unless they have changed something, there is no charge for milk via room service. There wasn't in February, at least, or I would have gone broke! LOL! DS and I ordered milk with donuts and danishes every morning, and chocolate milk and cookies for a bedtime snack every evening.

I can't remember whether it was whole milk or 2% though... but I'm sure someone else knows the answer to that!

There is a drink station on deck 9, will all the milk you want for free. I can't remember which kind it is, but I believe it's whole milk.

At the buffets they generally offer skim, 2% AND whole milk. I'd recommend stocking up on several cartons and keeping them in your stateroom refrigerator, much easier than always ordering from room service or going to the Deck 9 station.

And yes they do have yogurt at the buffets as well, not a great selection but it's there.

I am glad to hear that they do offer skim milk, I have been curious about that. I try to get my 3 servings a day, but there's no way I can do anything but skim! Thanks!Sus
