Question about Memory Maker and who it is assigned to?

Good Morning!

Hey, I hope there are some Memory Maker experts out there, all new to me. Added memory maker to a package, the My Disney Experience account is in my name, husband doesn't have one. When I look at the Memory Maker section it's assigned to husband and not me. Does it really matter if we are on the same reservation? We still see and download pictures through my account? And any photos we link with either of our MagicBands will be in there? We also have family linked on other reservation. Will we be able to see and download their pictures?

You cannot assign memory maker to more than one person. It can only be assigned to one person.

If the account is in your name and it's assigned to someone else you will not be able to download photos.

The "assignment" is ONLY for the downloading. Everyone else in your F&F list that you (and they) have photo sharing with can view the pictures, and all pictures taken of them will be available for viewing (the person MM is assigned to does NOT have to be there when the picture is taken). Once the "owner" of MM has downloaded the pics, s/he can send them, post them, share them with whoever they want.

We have just used this anyone in our family who was linked in MDE with photo sharing could use their magic band to get photos including ride photos.

However the magic band was assigned to my husband and only he could download the photos through his MDE account.

You can change who the memory maker is assigned to as many times as you want before you use it.
