My family will be at WDW during the week of the Member Homecoming but will not attend the homecoming (due to the price).

We were planning to go to the MK on the same day that the Homecoming is scheduled there. The Homecoming is scheduled to begin at 830 pm.

Does that mean that no one else will be allowed to remain for Wishes?

Will there be a Spectromagic before Wishes for those not attending the homecoming?

I'm asking now because we will need to schedule our PS's in a few weeks.

Hi! We'll be there the same time, and also aren't doing MH. My guess is that "Wishes" will be held before 8:30 (Yikes-I just realized, it probably won't be dark yet-now I'm worried too). When we went last year, the following week, the MK closed at 7:00. Come to think of it, I don't think there were any fireworks at all that week, except perhaps weekends.

On the one hand, this night may be the only night that Wishes will be performed. If you read the information in the DVC newsletter, it sounds like the exclusive "Homecoming" will start after Wishes.

On the other, it may be better to wait until Friday, when they will probably perform both Spectromagic and Wishes. But I bet the holiday crowds will be bad.

Spectromagic is a priority for us because we haven't seen it for a long time -- it was rained out last time we were there.

I think I will call MS to find out what the deal is.
