Question about making ADRs

My 180 day mark is this Sunday, and I'm prepared to be on the computer at 6am. I've even "practiced" by checking for availability for dates just before our trip.

My question is this. They seem to only be opening up dates one day at a time. In other words. Yesterday I could check for available tables for March 22, today I could search for March 23, and so on. So does that mean that at my 180 mark on Sunday I'll ONLY be able to make my ADR for March 25? And then I'll have to get up early Monday to make one for March 26, and so forth until I've made them for the length of stay?

I thought once our 180 day window opened we could make them for our whole length of stay, but if those dates aren't "active" yet on the site's calendar (still a light shade that can't be clicked) then how can I make reservations for those dates? Or do I just manually type it in instead of bringing up the little calendar? Hmmm...I haven't tried that yet.

TIA for any advice!

ETA: Just tried typing in one of my dates (March 26) and it just defaults to the date that is 180 days out (March 24).

Dangit.

ETA2: Okay, so I'm reading elsewhere that once my 180 day mark gets here I should have 10 days beyond that will open up so I can make those reservations then.

I guess this thread is pointless now. LOL. I am just trying to be prepared! I'm so ready to get this part done so I can concentrate on other things.

1. Right.

2. No.

3. No.

4. You can.

5. That's because, as of right now, you don't have an onsite reservation within the next 180 days.

6. The dates will open up once you're in your 180 day window.

Thank you! I just read that somewhere else while you were probably answering! I feel better now! Thanks so much!!

Just make sure you are logged into MDE so it recognizes your onsite reservation, and then it will open up availability for your length of stay (up to 10 days).
