question about magical express

Hi. We're going to WDW with a large group. My parents and my family are flying out of one airport and my sister and her family are flying from another. My sister is scheduled to land about 1 hour after us. We would like to take the magical express to the resort together. My question is, do you have to get directly on the bus or can we wait around for an hour and take another one. I don't know how often the busses run but I don't want to tell my sister that we'll meet her at the airport and then not be there.

I'm not sure the answer to the question but if you check out the transportation board, theres a huge thread about ME.

I don't think it makes any difference except they won't pull your bags until you check in at the ME desk I believe. Why don't you send an e-mail to ME and ask them if you check in can you wait for your sister I sure this would be OK with them.

You might consider just meeting up at your resort instead of hanging around the airport waiting to be on the same ME bus. When I went in Nov. with friends arriving on separate flights, I got in first, went to check in and then just called and left messages on everyone's cell phones about where they should meet me (our villa ended up being ready for early check in)

Yes, you can wait around for the rest of the group. Pick someplace to meet, I would suggest the DME check-in area. Then, when you arrive at the airport you can grab a bite to eat, use the restrooms, whatever. No, your bags won't get sent along until you check in at the DME desk, but if you have no problem with that, then sure, wait for the rest of the group.
Or, as just suggested, head out to the resort, get checked in, and meet them there!
