My dad is taking the whole family to WDW. There are 5 members of my immediate family, alone. In order to get the discounted rate in November we had to book at CBR and now my youngest son is included in my parent's room. The problem is that my family of 5 is flying to WDW and my parents are driving - which means my parents will receive my son's ME documents/luggage tags in the mail, instead of me. My question is: Is there anything in my dad's documents relating to my son that ME has to see in order for him to ride the bus to CBR? I know I won't need his luggage tags, as we aren't taking too many bags.

No, you don't really need any paperwork. Plenty of people have used DME who never even received their DME packets, so there's no problem showing up empty-handed. What you should do, however, is bring some proof that your son has a DME reservation. Since he's on your parents' WDW reservation, your parents will need to make a DME reservation for your son. Then, once they receive their updated reservation information from WDW, have them mail or fax a copy to you, showing that your son does indeed have a DME reservation. Even this paperwork won't be totally necessary, it's a "just in case" kind of thing.

My fiance and I are leaving in two days for our disney fairy tale wedding planning session which is Thursday. At first it was going to be just us and we bought our tickets w/ Southwest Airlines and received our DME luggage tags & transportation barcode thing a couple of weeks ago. Well, my parents last minute have decided they are going to join us and can take off of work. They just got their plane tickets. I guess they will be staying w us now since we already have a room.

Will they need some type of identification to ride the DME w/ us to our resort? I went to the DME and filled out an online form for them yesterday however, I know it will not be here in time because we leave Thursday.

As long as they are in the system ( on the resort Ressie) then thats all they need .Once at the ME counter let them know what ever details you have and they will take care of it.

They can even still have their bags pulled even if they don't have the yellow tags on them.

This late in the game I would call the DME number in your package and make sure they are listed.

When you check in at the Welcome Center, they will ask for your DME Booklet that you got in the mail. Inside that booklet will be four vouchers with barcodes. Those are your boarding passes for the bus.

For your son, let the cast member at the desk know that he is on a separate reservation, and that you do not have the booklet for it. They will print you up a replacement voucher.

For your return trip, you will recieve notices on each door with the pick up time information. You can use those notices as your boarding passes for your return journey.
