Question about LEGO store at DTD

My son is saving his Disney dollars and Disney gift cards to spend at the LEGO store at DTD....are those accepted there?? I just wanted to be prepared so he doesn't get disappointed. I want to make sure that he has cash with him if they do not accept those. Thanks for any info!!

I know the Disney gift-cards are accepted there. We took the DVC tour last year and each of us got a $15 gift-card; my 6-yr-old took his directly to the Lego store and spent it!

If they do not accept the Disney Dollars why don't you just swap him regular dollars to use at the Lego store and then you can use the Disney Dollars in the parks or where ever they are accepted?

yes we used disney dollars/gift cards there in Feb.
