We just spent two nights at CBR last month and loved it! We booked a standard room but were upgraded to water view and had a corner room in Aruba 55 -- it was perfect!!

We're hoping to go back for our anniversary next year and I've reserved a king room. Dh asked me if it was possible to find out if you can also pay extra for a water view king vs. a standard view king? Or a king in a preferred building? I wasn't sure -- thought maybe the king was the only thing you could specify. Does anyone know?

My ideal room would be a corner king with a lake view ... but that's just a wish, I suppose!! :)

Just a bump in case anyone might know ...

I don't believe you can pay extra for water view or preferred. At least thats what I was told when I asked. With a king room its just the luck of the draw

At CBR you can pay extra for a king room. I don't think you can pay extra on top of that for a water view location. Your best bet is to call reservations. Personally I think most water view rooms at CBR are not worth the extra money. I

The garden/coutyard view is better than the water view in my opinion. Can't hurt to call and ask.

I believe most king beds are located in corner rooms so you will be in luck there.

A king room is a reserved room that costs $15 more than the standard room as is the preferred location.

But not all corner rooms are king rooms. I have stayed in two corner rooms that were doubles.

Yes - but you can't pay for a King room and then pay additional for a preferred location or a water veiw.

You're right.

I think that's a little odd. I would think Disney would love to sell those rooms at a premium.

But, I also think it is odd you can guarantee a king room at a moderate resort but not a deluxe. But, what do I know?:teeth:

LOL - I would agree with you. I wish there was a way to pay for King rooms at deluxe resorts.
