Question about holiday crowds

We were thinking of visiting WDW mid August but now have to push the trip back by a week or so. Could someone tell me what the Labor Day weekend crowds are like. Is it as busy as the 4th of July?

No. As holiday weekends go, LDW is among the least crowded.

Just be warned Disney did things this past year to make Labor Day a bit more enticing - mainly MNSSHPs and F&W starting in late August (F&W had previously started further into Sept). Combined with relatively low rates that time of year, decent discounts, and a long weekend, it got us down there in 2017!
