Question about Hilton Head please

I'm not a vacation club owner but I'm thinking about renting points for a 2 bdrm to stay at HH during our April school break, if the place isn't completely booked already.

It's a last minute trip idea, 3 moms and our kids age 7 and younger.

HH looks beautiful and laid back and there seems to be plenty of things for kids to do. Am I right?

I don't know if this is the right forum to post this but any help would be greatly appreciated.

April is a very popular time in Hilton Head especially for golf and tennis. If you are talking about this month, I'd say your chances are none.....for next year, you'll need to really plan ahead.

If I were you, I'd look at other options on the island besides DVC.....there are thousands of homes, condos, hotel rooms, etc for you to choose from. I'd start looking place in Sea Pines, Shipyard, and Palmetto Dunes plantations.

April is popular but always worth trying to get a room, it depends what time in April you are going. We have gone to HH every spring break for 5-6 years and it isn't over busy or crowded. The weather is generally perfect but coming from NH anything over 50 is good. My DD always chooses HH or WDW for spring break everytime because she had made friends from other states with the same break schedule as NH and they talk via email all year to make plans.

If you are looking for this week or next week, I'd say forget it, they are booked. After next week, the only way to know for sure is to call and ask.

Thanks, I'll find out about availability. Our April break is the week of the 16th.

I was wondering if there are enough activities at HH to entertain young kids?
Could anyone tell me what kind of activities they have there?
I haven't been able to find out any information on my own as to what the resort has to offer.
