Question about going from CP to PI :)

Hey!


I'm wondering if a person can go from doing a role such as attractions during their CP to apply for a PI in a completely different field such as hospitality?

I hope the question makes sense. I've been trying to re-word it for at least 10 minutes now so it makes sense.

Sure.

Do note that PIs are more competitive, but so long as you meet eligibility requirements you'll be fine. (Special note on extensions: if you extend your CP, it tends to mess up the eligibility requirements with regard to continuous service [can't be on a CP or PI collectively for more than 365 days consecutively] - so don't extend if you plan to do a PI immediately following your CP).
