Question about getting to an early ADR...

We are staying at POR and have an 8:05 AM ADR for Donald's Safari Breakfast at AK. The park opens at 9 AM that day.

Are the buses running early enough to get us to our ADR on time? What time do the buses start running? And how early would we need to leave POR to get there on time?

I believe the buses start running no later than 7 and sometimes even earlier. You will be able to get there for your early ADR. Disney know that people have ADRs at the park restaurants before the parks open.

That's what I'd do too. The busses will be running around 6:30ish, but that early they are less frequent than the hour or so before a park opens. If you are there at 7, even waiting a bit for your bus to arrive you should be a-ok.

The buses start running to the parks at 6:30am, every morning. For an 8:05 ADR, at AK, you should be out at the AK bus stop by 7ish. These early morning buses run less frequently than the regular park buses do, so if the bus is just driving away as you get there, you may have to wait until 7:20 or so before the next ones comes along.
The other thing to keep in mind is that Tusker House is way back inside AK. It takes a fair amount of time to walk there...and it's nice to just take your time inside the unopened park, rather than rushing to get there in time.

If you have an 8:10 ADR, and the park opens at 9, then you should be able to get into the park about 7:50-8:00, but not much earlier.
You won't be able to get in at, say, 7:30 and wander around.

In my experience with the early ADRs, they don't let the first folks in till about 5 till 8.
