Question about flights and Expedia

I haven't booked via Expedia but I have thru Travelocity. There was a flight change and the time didn't suit but I was able to change it to a more suitable time without a fee. I would book again thru them. Also have booked directly with AA with no hassles. :thumbsup2

Have a look too at booking directly with the airline's website. You can often get the same price without dealing with a third party.

I have booked air through expedia a number of times- loved them and no troubles booking and with any service issues I might have had. You also get the bonus of occasional vouchers that just come up when you are booking again for hotels etc that take $50 off. I was booking a hotel in Las Vegas the other day and was offered a voucher as I went to finalize my booking- a nice surprise and I hadn't even used expedia much in the last 12 months. Jennie

I have booked flights with Expedia in 2009 and again this year, always got a get deal and reliable - did you know that they are part of the Flight Centre Company?:thumbsup2 Expedia are very quick on updating changes and keeping you informed...:worship:

Other than that I went direct to the airline aswell.

We booked our LA-NYC trip through Expedia last year for everything but flights. Had no problems with hotels, car hire, and travel insurance, but I just used sites like Expedia or Webjet to find the flights I wanted, then went directly to the airlines own site to book.
I find it gives you a couple more options and more flexibility when your flights are direct from the carrier rather than through a third party.
Otherwise, I would gladly recommend Expedia!

We booked our flights through Expedia last year. I was told their prices are linked to exchange rates, so this may be linked to price changes.

hello, im only new here and just found where the other aussies hang out.

We booked our recent internal flights with expedia and have had no issues at all. They have emailed us every time there is a change to the flights which is great.
The only bad thing was trying to make a change, having to ring america and sort it out but it was quick and easy.
There is an expedia.com.au but unfortunately its not linked to the booking site for the US site.

:)

We often find our flights through Expedia then book through our agent at Flight Centre. They can always get the same price and now that someone has pointed out the link I cansee why.
We have found some great cheap flights to Europe by working out links through the Asian hubs (Singapore, Hong King etc)
