Question about Family Bricks

I have a buddy at work who bought a 25th anniversary brick located at the TTC. He was wondering where he can find any additional information about it such as how long it will remain in place and what happens to it afterward.

I bought one for my boyfriend when they first came out in 1994. The paperwork he has says they are guaranteed to be there for 10 years, then they can be removed at any time. I'm not sure if there was any change to that policy in later years.
