I have two questions. Number One, we are leaving for the parks on Friday. What are the chances that we will be able to ride it? And number two, do you go backwards down any big drops? I have been on bigger roller coaster. One for example, one at a park about an hour away from our house, the maximum drop is 232 feet and the maximum speed is 85 mph. But I don't want to go down any big drops backwards. Thanks! And here is a pic of that coaster.

Nice, Phantom's Revenge! I visited Kennywood when PR was still the Steel Phantom.

You do go backwards on a drop that is fairly good sized. Its not huge, but it sure didn't feel like a tiny drop. Its nothing to worry about though.

As of being able to ride it, I will say that I doubt it. This weekend is for cast members and their guests only. The following weekend will be for DVC and AP holders only. Now, if they will have it open between Cast and AP previews, who knows, but I will say probably not.

When the Steel Phantom was still there I was like 8, so I never got ride it. But at one of the science centers they have a simulator.

It sounds like you've rode it, how was the big drop?
And does it go into icy caverns?
