I ordered my tickets a month or so ago. They're electronic tickets, but shouldn't I still get something in the mail?

When I get e-tickets, they are printed from the computer. I have never gotten anything in the mail as well. I have purchased e-tickets for flights, hotels, meal vouchers, admission into various venues etc all e-tickets and I have never gotten anything in the mail. All of my e-tickets have been followed up by an e-mail from the vendor. If you have received an e-mail, I wouldn't worry.

No you won't get anything in the mail. At the time you purchased the tickets you probably had an option to print a receipt or copy of the flights. You may still be able to do that on the airline website. That would be all you need. When you get to the airport you will check in with your photo ID. A copy of the receipt would be great in the event of any problems.

No, you generally do not receive anything in the mail. That's why they call them "electronic" tickets -- everything is done via your computer and the vendor's web site. It's up to you to print out your own confirmation information. Many vendors follow up with a confirmation email, but none that I've dealt with ever send anything in regular mail. That's one of the reasons that so many vendors offer discounted prices for e-tickets -- the company saves money by not having to print and mail anything to customers.

If you didn't print out your confirmation screen info at the time you purchased your tickets, check to see if you got anything via email and print that out. Otherwise, log back in to the site where you purchased the tickets and see if there is an option to print out your purchase confirmation.

If you're talking about airline e-tickets, I've never been asked to show my confirmation info when checking in for a flight. They do ask to see the credit card I used to purchase the tickets. However, I always print out and carry along my confirmation anyway because you never know when something might go wrong and you'll need proof of what you paid for.
